Quality Management Expert: DBPAO Support

JRAD is seeking candidates for a contingent hire position supporting the Joint Program Executive Office for CBRN Defense (JPEO-CBRND). This is a hybrid position based out of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Description:

JRAD is recruiting a highly qualified Quality Management Expert to support the Defense Biological Product Assurance Office (DBPAO) within the Enabling Biotechnologies (EB) mission area. This individual will lead the development and implementation of quality management systems (QMS) and ensure compliance with applicable standards to enhance DBPAO's biological detection and assurance capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a Quality Management System (QMS) for the DBPAO in alignment with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
• Provide technical guidance on quality assurance, quality control, and process auditing for DBPAO operations and products.
• Conduct and document internal quality audits, assist with external audits, and provide corrective/preventive action plans as needed.
• Collaborate with program staff, scientific personnel, and leadership to embed quality assurance principles throughout product lifecycle and mission execution.
• Develop quality-related training materials and mentor staff on compliance and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience with CBRN-related programs
• MBA in Technology Management
• Direct experience developing a quality management system for the DBPAO
• American Society of Quality Certified Quality Auditor
• Certified Spark Power User 3.4

• DoD Secret Clearance
