Spatial Data Warehousing Specialist - CONTINGENT

We are seeking qualified Senior and Journey Spatial Data Warehousing Specialists to support the National Park Service Data Management Support Services Contract. These roles will support building data integrations such as geospatial and alphanumeric data warehouses and/or data lakes, consolidating and geospatially enabling data, and publishing those data to meet user needs for mapping, reporting, and in general geospatial analysis or self-service business intelligence (BI) activities. Task planning, project management, and coordination skills will be important to work effectively with other data and project team members and leadership. The Data Warehousing Specialist will bring experience in a variety of data warehousing tools from both the traditional data warehouse and data lake perspective but also from the techniques used in the Modern Data Stack and/or other modern approaches to managing spatial data warehouses. Experience in data analysis, presentation, or self- service BI approaches will also be important to develop proof of concept and prototype reports and maps that can help end users visualize and interrogate data that is contained within the data warehouse, thus demonstrating the value of the environment.

Requirements for Senior Data Warehouse Specialist: Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience with building data warehouses (including spatial data) and working with data dashboards, reports, maps, or other visualizations from aggregated data.

Requirements for Journey Data Warehouse Specialist: Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience with building data warehouses (including spatial data) and working with data dashboards, reports, maps, or other visualizations from aggregated data.
