Onsite - Mineral Wells, TX

Our Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Subcontractor Administrator to be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Manager with departmental operations ensuring suppliers support the programs with respect to cost, schedule, technical, and quality, and executing subcontract agreements. You'll have an onsite work schedule at our business unit, Genesys Aerosystems, located in Mineral Wells, TX. Genesys Aerosystems delivers customer-focused technologies and customized solutions for Special Mission, Military & Defense, Military Trainer, Business, and General Aviation industries.

Day- to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Perform independently and make sound decisions based on research of established procedures, guidelines, and sound business acumen.
  • Issue and negotiate non-disclosure and teaming agreements.
  • Ability to analyze and act on MRP suggested actions, to assure continuous material availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of multiple contracts.
  • Manage full procurement life cycle, requirements development through sustainment.
  • In conjunction with quality organization; evaluate, monitor, and address quality and performance with suppliers.
  • Understand and comply with contractual actions related to unsatisfactory supplier performance
  • Provide advice and support to internal program and technical teams
  • Review assigned contracts prior to award to assure that all supplier technical requirements, prices, terms and conditions, and delivery agree with Moog's proposal, negotiated agreement, and division policies
  • Communicate with internal and external customers in a timely manner
  • Support Purchasing in driving cost savings and achieving departmental goals

Here's what you'll bring with you...

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of subcontracts-related experience, or a Masters/JD with a minimum of 5 years of contracts-related experience.
  • Experience with government contracts.
  • Experience with analyzing problems and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to utilize tools to develop and produce management reports.
  • Extensive knowledge of and/or use of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Superior analytical skills and ability to work independently with limited direction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, working in a collaborative environment.
  • Must be a U.S citizen.

*Certification by APICS (CPIM or CIRM) is desirable

Salary Range Transparency:

Mineral Wells, TX $75,000.00-$100,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
