In this role as a Key Accounts Specialist, you will drive growth in GDS's Industrial segment in Utah. You will be in the forefront of all aspects of providing an excellent customer experience with Enbridge's existing industrial customers, helping them meet and grow their energy demands by collaborating as a strategic partner to meet their business goals while growing Enbridge's revenue and system to support their needs.

Here's what you will do:

  • Actively seek out strategic growth opportunities for the utility in the industrial segment, identifying market trends and growth drivers in the state.

  • Evaluate and drive the development of growth opportunities through a deep understanding of prospective customers and the value natural gas can provide.

  • Build trust-based relationships and be the voice of the customer by identifying and anticipating needs and influencing internal teams to deliver value-added solutions that meet and exceed expectations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally by partnering with engineering, legal, regulatory, measurement and control, gas control, operations, preconstruction, customer care and billing teams to deliver integrated, customer-centric growth solutions that are aligned with our strategic priorities.

  • Partner with our existing customers to provide an excellent customer experience and meet and exceed their upcoming needs with proactive knowledge and understanding of their organization.

  • Track performance against sales targets, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and operational effectiveness. Use data to inform and create strategy.

  • Engage externally by representing Enbridge in key industry events, conferences, regulatory discussions, and customer forums to strengthen our position as a market leader.

  • Support internal projects and regulatory initiatives as required.

Who you are:

You have:

  • A related Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in sales, utilities, or the energy industry.

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience of people or large initiatives

  • Knowledge and exposure to regulators, intervenors, competitors and other players in the energy industry and utilities ecosystem.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and have experience presenting right and relevant information to different audiences as appropriate.

  • Refined interpersonal skills and ability to "read a room".

  • Work in a target-based environment, achieving sales and market development goals.

You are:

  • Familiar with local government and current affairs impacting energy and industry policy.

  • Able to analyze a spreadsheet and familiar with basic accounting principles.

  • Familiar with current Utah and Wyoming Tariff / rate structure.

Working Conditions:

  • Mainly office based with approximately 35% to 45% domestic travel opportunity within Utah, Wyoming and Idaho.

  • Overnight travel required on occasion.

  • Current drivers license in good standing is required.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
