Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our corporate Human Resources team. This position is ideal for someone with 2-4 years of HR experience who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting core HR functions including recruitment, employee engagement, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and HR reporting. Full time position - onsite required.
Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing coordination, and offer preparation.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, including documentation and orientation scheduling.
- Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Support positive employee relations by handling routine workplace inquiries and assisting with investigations as needed.
- HR Operations
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems.
- Prepare reports related to headcount, turnover, and other HR metrics.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Benefits & Leave Administration
- Support benefits enrollment, changes, and communication.
- Coordinate with Account Payables regarding monthly invoices.
- Coordinate leave requests (FMLA, medical, etc.) and track time off accurately.
- Performance & Development
- Support the execution of performance review cycles and employee engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate training programs and maintain training records.
- Compliance & Policy Administration
- Help ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and accessible to all employees.
- Assist with audits and required filings (e.g., 401k, EEO-1, OSHA).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field; or work experience, plus certification or working on certification will also be considered.
- 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-site environment.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint). (ADP, ICIMS, PerformYard,
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident.
