Sundara Inn and Spa is currently seeking a full time year-round motivated and guest-experience minded Spa Front Desk Associate. Responsibilities: We want employees to arrive at work every day motivated, and eliminate the things that de-motivate staff, so we've carefully prepared this list of responsibilities. Greet and register resort and spa guests and ensure superior guest service Provide guests tours of the facility and escort guests to locker room and salt rooms Book guest reservations, compute bills and pre-authorizations and collect payments Contact appropriate department when guests have special requests or needs Act as a concierge to arrange all aspects of a guest's stay People Skills Be cordial, efficient, knowledgeable and professional in guest contact, at all times maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction Lead with a positive outlook and pleasant personality Ability to prioritize and multi-task A calm demeanor, radiating calm to co-workers and guests, even during busy times Ability to interact with co-workers in a way that strengthens the entire organization Able to work with minimal supervision Polished verbal skills Professional Fit Embrace Sundara's policies and procedures, knowing those standards play a critical role in creating the ultimate guest experience Report to work on time and in proper attire, truly being ready to contribute to our unique destination spa Commitment to honesty and integrity Possess individual core values aligned with Sundara Inn & Spa Understand integration of mind-body-spirit environment Experience Customer Service experience is required Computer and Accounting Skills are required Knowledge of cash register functions and basic math Must be flexible in work scheduling Ability to work most weekends, holidays and nights as assigned Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality Starting wage: $16.00 per hour plus bonus averaging $1.50 per hour Hours: Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays Job Type: Full-time Benefits and Employee Discounts: Generous employee discounts on services, overnight stays and retail products Complimentary fitness center usage Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Flexible spending account Health savings account 401(k) and employer match Paid time off Referral program Employee assistance program
