Cost and Price Analyst

ANALYGENCE is seeking a Cost and Price Analyst to join our team supporting USAID. This position provides expert cost and pricing analysis for USAID-funded contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements to ensure cost reasonableness, allowability, and compliance with federal and Agency regulations. The position requires direct U.S. Government (USG) acquisition and assistance experience and includes support across pre-award, post-award, and closeout phases. The role is fully remote and requires a Facility Access or Public Trust clearance.



  • Review and analyze cost proposals and budgets for USAID awards.
  • Evaluate direct and indirect costs, cost share, profit/fee, and escalation.
  • Prepare Cost Analysis Memoranda (CAMs) in accordance with FAR, AIDAR, 2 CFR 200, and ADS 300.
  • Assess indirect cost rates and support post-award cost compliance reviews.
  • Develop and maintain internal tools, templates, and guidance related to cost and pricing analysis.
  • Perform cost analysis per FAR 15.404-1(c) and recommend realistic costs based on efficient operations.
  • Utilize statistical modeling and quantitative analysis to evaluate cost reasonableness and trends.
  • Support partner engagement regarding cost principles, budgeting, and financial documentation requirements.
  • Must successfully complete government background investigation for facility access or public trust prior to start.
  • Must be able to support/work core hours of 1000-1500 Washington DC time regardless of remote location.
  • Certification: FAC-C Professional certification is required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required (Master's degree or CPA/CMA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive cost/pricing or federal procurement experience, including at least 3 years supporting USAID A&A operations.
  • Advanced Excel and cost modeling skills; experience with statistical modeling and quantitative analysis; proficiency in interpreting FAR, AIDAR, and 2 CFR 200.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to work independently in a virtual team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Teams or similar workplace chat and videoconferencing tools.
