 Acquisition Analyst LOCATION: Huntsville, AL JOB STATUS: Full-time CLEARANCE: Secret TRAVEL: As Needed Join Astrion in Huntsville and play a critical role in a mission-driven team at the forefront of national defense innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Acquisition Analyst to join our CUAS team. This role is pivotal in managing complex government and commercial contracts, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risk. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), cradle-to-grave contract management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced defense environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS  
 RESPONSIBITIESBachelor's degree in Business or related field (Master's degree preferred)Minimum 7 years of experience in contract management, preferably in defense or aerospaceStrong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation SupplementExperience with Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), or related defense technologies is preferredExceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skillsAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance 
 Lead cradle-to-grave contract administration for CUAS initiativesDevelop and analyze acquisition strategies during pre-solicitation phasesDraft, review, and negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), teaming agreements, subcontracts, and prime contractsPrepare acquisition documentation including Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)Conduct market research and support drafting of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and sources sought noticesMonitor contract execution, funding, modifications, and performance trackingEnsure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Department of Defense (DoD) directivesCollaborate with program management, Army Contracting Command, and industry partnersSupport the development of Contract Requirement Packages and Simplified Acquisition Management PlansProvide acquisition guidance to internal stakeholders and senior leadershipManage property delivery and transfer under both FAR-based and Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contracts  #CJ  |
