The Medical Device Support Specialist will be a critical link between cutting-edge medical technology and life-saving patient care. In this role, you'll combine your technical expertise with your bilingual skills to support medical devices that make a real difference in people's lives.

  • Serving as a subject matter expert, able to perform Service Support and assist Product Support functions, including diagnosis and troubleshooting of complaint device faults and failures, assisting with device application and triaging repairs with international business partners.

  • Including but not limited to, use-case troubleshooting, assembly / disassembly, service log review and interpretation, familiarity with component test methods for final Field Replaceable Unit FRU assemblies per manufacturing documentation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent military experience

  • 4+ years of experience in medical device cGMP service, manufacturing, or a comparable combination of service and support experience

  • Proven ability to work independently and lead staff toward meeting deadlines

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement

  • Must work Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone

Preferred Qualifications

  • Product management experience, especially with mechanical ventilation or other respiratory care products

  • Background in customer support or service, including phone-based troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) service model processes

  • Proficiency with SAP or a similar enterprise database system

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)

Organizational Relationship/Scope:

This position has achieved more advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic ability related to product performance and may be assigned other more advanced job tasks.

This role will require cross-functional relationships with Service, Sustaining Engineering, Quality, Product Monitoring, and Product Support as required.

Working Conditions:

Clean, temperature-controlled environment.

This position is eligible for remote work with domestic and international travel requirements of at least 40%.

Pay Transparency:

The expected base pay range for this position is $100k - $140k. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable program. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion.
