Job Title : Marketing Associate
Location: 1430 Spring Hill Rd. Ste 200 McLean, Virginia 21102
Hybrid, This position offer a hybrid schedule with at least 2 days in office per week and flexibility to support various events.
SUMMARY
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to support and grow our online presence, brand visibility, and event footprint. This role is ideal for a digital marketer with 2-3 years of experience who is comfortable wearing multiple hats across social media, website content management, event planning, and sponsorship management. You'll play a key role in shaping how our brand is seen, engaged with, and experienced both online and in person.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Social Media Management
* Own day-to-day management of LinkedIn and Instagram, creating and scheduling engaging, on-brand content to support awareness, thought leadership, and recruitment marketing.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop social content that highlights company culture, events, announcements, and key milestones.
* Monitor and respond to audience engagement on social channels, supporting community growth and brand reputation.
* Regularly review and analyze content performance to inform future strategy and optimizations.
* Analyze social performance and generate monthly insights reports to inform strategy.
* Monitor Glassdoor and other employer review platforms to track brand perception, surface trends, and partner with HR to support a strong employer brand.
* Website Content Management
* Maintain and update website content using WordPress.
* Collaborate with partners to publish new product pages and blog posts.
* Optimize on-page SEO and ensure all web content aligns with brand voice and tone.
* Tradeshow & Event Coordination
* Lead the planning and execution of tradeshows, industry events, and conferences.
* Coordinate logistics such as booth shipments, registrations, branded materials, and exhibition setup.
* Work cross-functionally to ensure consistent messaging and prep.
* Sponsorships & Partnerships
* Manage execution of company sponsorships, including sports, industry, and community partnerships.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the DC Power sponsorship, overseeing branding, engagement opportunities, event activations, and content promotion.
* Coordinate deliverables and timelines across internal teams and external partners to maximize sponsorship value* Track performance and audience reach, and provide recommendations for future sponsorship strategy. SUPERFACE

Required Certifications
Education, Background, and Years of Experience
* The ideal candidate bring 2-5 years of experience working in marketing and communications, has experience working in Government Consulting market, and holds a bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
* 2-3 years of marketing experience, ideally with a focus in digital marketing.
* Hands-on experience managing corporate social media accounts.
* Basic knowledge of WordPress.
* Familiarity with event coordination or marketing logistics.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to balance creative thinking with data-driven decisions.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Environmental Conditions
* This position is primarily performed in an office or remote setting within a professional, fast-paced environment, with frequent use of computers, phones, and other office equipment. Occasional domestic travel (up to 15%) is required to support tradeshows, conferences, sponsorship events, and on-site meetings, which may include evening or weekend commitments. The role follows standard Monday-Friday business hours but requires flexibility for events, deadlines, or urgent marketing needs, including occasional overtime. Physical demands include the ability to lift and transport event materials up to 25 lbs., as well as extended periods of sitting, computer work, and standing or walking during events. Candidates must be comfortable setting up and dismantling tradeshow booths and handling
signage, displays, and promotional items. The role also requires adaptability to shifting priorities, strong collaboration across teams, and responsiveness to fast-changing business needs.
Strength Demands
* Light - 20 lbs. Maximum lifting with frequent lift/carry up to 10 lbs. A job is light if less lifting is involved but significant walking/standing is done or if done mostly sitting but requires push/pull on arm or leg controls.
