Cox Automotive is hiring a Financial Analyst I. The Financial Analyst I will report to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. It will focus on Consolidated Cox Auto monthly results reporting and analysis, as well as budget analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Support enterprise-wide financial planning processes including the annual target setting process, the annual budget planning process, and other quarterly or monthly processes
  • Manage project plans, communicate with impacted stakeholders, and managing changes throughout each process
  • Perform key month-end reporting activities with a focus on storytelling and identifying future trends
  • Interpret financial data, variance analysis, and key business drivers to make recommendations
  • Create presentations based on financial analysis and interpretations for executive-level audiences
  • Build and maintain driver based financial planning models that analyze different aspects of organizational expenses
  • Support key finance projects - could include process improvement projects and/ or financial system and reporting projects


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Effective communication of analysis, building strong business partner relationships and creating executive-level presentations are essential in this role, as are interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong project or process management skills - including building and maintaining project plans and status, coordinating and leading project meetings, writing communications, and building in appropriate change management measures
  • Strong understanding of financial management concepts, accounting procedures, and measuring/ reporting business drivers and variance analysis
  • Demonstrated analytical ability with track record of delivered results
  • Comfortable building executive level presentations
  • Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities, and work under tight deadlines at times.
  • Experienced in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating one's own work


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting with 1+ year of work experience in a financial environment. A non-degreed candidate must have 4+ years of finance experience.
  • Master's Degree or MBA a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required - includes logical and reference formulas, financial functions, correlation through logic, best practice model structure/design, assumption toggling, and formatting for executive presentations
  • Intermediate MS PowerPoint skills


USD 54,200.00 - 81,400.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $54,200.00 - $81,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
