Powder Coat Painter

Staffmark is currently seeking an experienced Powder Coat Painter for a manufacturing facility in Dayton, OH. If you have industrial painting experience and take pride in your work, this is a great opportunity to join a dependable team.

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

As a Powder Coat Painter, you'll be responsible for applying paint to industrial equipment using spray systems and powder coating techniques. This includes setting up and cleaning spray guns, maintaining the paint booth, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Paint industrial equipment using spray and powder coat systems
• Set up and clean spray guns independently
• Perform color and powder changes as needed
• Apply paint at proper thickness (mills) and pressure levels
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
• Maintain and clean the paint booth and related equipment

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of industrial painting experience preferred
• Proficient in spray systems and understanding paint pressures/mill thickness
• Experience in powder coating and maintaining a paint booth is a plus
• Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must wear casual work attire (jeans, t-shirt, work boots/closed-toe shoes)
