Cloud System PMO Manager

TheCloud Systems PMO Managerwill lead the strategic and operational management of all cloud-based IT applications across the enterprise. This role is responsible for overseeing integrations, managing cloud vendor contracts, coordinating internal support resources, and serving as the central point of contact for all administrative functions related to cloud systems. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of project management expertise, technical acumen, and vendor management experience to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Project Oversight

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud application projects and upgrades.
• Establish and maintain a cloud systems roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Cloud Vendor & Contract Management

• Manage relationships with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, SaaS vendors).
• Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, compliance, and performance metrics.
• Ensure SLAs are met and escalate issues as needed.

Support & Administration

• Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business units for cloud application support.
• Oversee internal support teams and ensure effective incident and problem management.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases for all cloud systems.

Governance & Compliance

• Develop and enforce policies for cloud usage, security, and data governance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR).

Budgeting & Resource Planning

• Manage budgets related to cloud services and support resources.
• Forecast and allocate resources for ongoing operations and future initiatives.

Stakeholder Communication

• Provide regular updates to IT leadership and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive briefings as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years focused on cloud systems.
• Proven experience managing SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, integration patterns, and service management.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. We are not able to offer sponsorship of work visas for this position.

Preferred:

• PMP, ITIL, or cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, or Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with Agile and hybrid project methodologies.
