Team Lead, Recon & Client Reporting

AllianceBernstein L.P. seeks Team Lead, Recon & Client Reporting in Nashville, TN to Lead the development and implementation of software development work that supports the reconciliation needs of the global AB Operations business teams. Leverage a combination of CTC configurations, SQL, Linux, Excel, and other general IT skills to design and develop enhancements and projects. Collaborate with AB business partners to understand their needs and requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the development team. Ensure that software development enhancements and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards based on priorities set by business partners and IT management. Oversee the maintenance and support of the CTC reconciliation production environment, including production support, bug fixes, system housekeeping tasks, historical data purging, and upgrades. Provide oversight to a team of offshore TPP developers.  Send requirements to their offshore team lead and review the deliverables that they provide in return.  Provide coaching and mentoring to the AB developer, helping them develop their skills and achieve their goals. Must appear in office 3 days per week; WFH permissible 2 days per week.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field and eight (8) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Software Development or in the job offered or a related role.

SKILLS: Experience and/or education must include the following:

1. Management Skills to coordinate the full life cycle software development and production support and system maintenance of VRS and CTC applications along with work performed by third party onsite and offshore IT resources;

2. Linux/Unix technical skills for developing software applications;

3. SQL Server database skills for developing software applications and performance tuning the CTC and VRS SQL Server databases;

4. Project Management Skills to track, prioritize, and manage business and technical enhancement requests and project tasks utilizing Jira, Excel and Powerpoint and to lead weekly/monthly meetings with relevant business management leaders to report project/enhancement status and coordinate priorities;

5. VRS client reporting: building custom client reports in FactSet’s VRS reporting platform;

6. Gresham Clareti Transaction Control (CTC) to configure reconciliations of large sets of data incorporating complex match rules, reporting and aging of exceptions; and

7. ControlM for scheduling the execution of jobs.

LOCATION: 501 Commerce, Nashville, TN 37203; Must appear in office 3 days per week; WFH permissible 2 days per week.

SALARY: Offered salary is $134,014/year.
