The Environmental Engineering Specialist/Sr. will support air emission regulatory compliance and reporting initiatives by working with EQT Team Members and external business partners to maintain air quality compliance and protect environmental resources. This position will work closely with our asset management teams to ensure field operations teams are effective and efficiently meeting air permit monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting regulatory requirements that support compliance management activities. The qualified candidate will support air compliance by driving emissions data gathering, calculation verifications and reporting, while providing data management system support, and the occasional field inspection. TheEnvironmental Engineering Specialist/Sr. responsibilities include but arenot limited to: Works under minimal supervision, relying on departmental expectations to perform the duties of the job. Uses judgment on when to get others involved. Relies on experience/ judgment to perform routine projects; working under general supervision. Assists in the development and design of operational and procedural improvements. Assists in theimplementation and roll out of field-based programs such as process implementation and improvement, environmental programs, training, etc. Proactively monitor asset management work system for compliance obligations. Emissions platform exception investigations, emission factor maintenance. Data request responses for internal and external use. Required Experience and Skills: Bachelor's degree in GIS, engineering, math, science or a closely related technical field. Minimum of 8 years of related air compliance or permitting experience. Valid driver's license required. Proficient computer skills including Excel and Word. Strength in Excel or ability to quickly learn more advanced functions (query, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) is important. Ability to contribute in a team environment and as an individual contributor. Effective communication skills in both oral and written form, including technical writing. Knowledge of intermediate engineering concepts, fundamentals and theory. Ability to think analytically and solve moderately complex problems. Comfortable working behind a computer for a majority of the workday. Preferred Experience and Skills: 10 years of related oil & gas air regulatory specific experience preferred. Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience. Familiarization with: Salesforce Power Bi ProMax / GRI-GLYCalc^TM Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
