Age Specific Responsibility Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in assigned department. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to age-specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Summary The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) demonstrates excellent customer service performance in that his/her attitude and actions are at all times consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission and Values of Mary Free Bed. This individual implements specific curriculum designed to work toward each child's Treatment Plan, goals, and individual needs, monitors individual and group programs. This individual completes, priorities and organizes technical aspects of patient care as delegated and supervised by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). RBT's implement line therapy, typically in a 1:1 ratio, with children diagnosed with autism. Essential Job Responsibilities
