About the role:

As a Partnership Manager on the Industry Engagement team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and managing strategic relationships between FIS and key trade associations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that FIS is actively engaged with these associations while identifying and leveraging opportunities to collaborate with association leadership and committees. You'll be responsible for driving pipeline development by generating new leads to support our growth.

About the team:

Our Industry Engagement team operates across North America and Europe, focusing on building and nurturing relationships with trade associations, identifying and executing industry events, and delivering thought leadership opportunities to the broader FIS enterprise. Your efforts will be instrumental in expanding our reach and influence within the industry, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of innovation and collaboration

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with association leaders and committee members
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for FIS to participate in association events, initiatives, and projects
  • Representing FIS at association meetings, conferences, and other industry events to enhance our visibility and influence
  • Collaborating with internal teams to align FIS's goals and strategies with those of the associations
  • Monitoring industry trends and developments to identify new partnership opportunities and areas for engagement
  • Providing regular updates and reports on partnership activities and outcomes to senior management
  • Negotiate elements and budget to be included in membership with association
  • Provides financial analysis, long-range forecasting and analysis studies associated with potential alliances and partnerships
  • Monitors programs to assess the sales impact of offered solutions in the marketplace
  • Monitors competitor activity and implements strategies to ensure FIS is a highly sought after partner

What you will need:

  • Experience in banking, fintech, and financial services
  • Proven experience in identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships
  • Strong commercial acumen to identify and develop new business opportunities, including understanding market trends and the competitive landscape
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and negotiate terms with partners
  • Familiarity with SaaS/Cloud environments and the ability to build partner programs in these area

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $41,310.00 - $68,160.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
