Senior Digital Product Owner - SAP

Daikin Applied Americas is looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Digital Product Owner to lead the digital roadmap for SAP Business One within the Alliance Air business unit. This role plays a key leadership position in driving the evolution of supply chain and operations capabilities through digital innovation, system enhancements, and strong business partnership. As a senior member of the digital product team, you will influence both tactical decisions and long-term strategy to ensure SAP B1 enables scalable, efficient, and resilient operations. Location: Hybrid or Remote - Plymouth, MN

What you will do:

• Own and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for SAP Business One with a specific focus on supporting the supply chain and operations of the Alliance Air business unit
• Act as the voice of the business, deeply understanding operational pain points, business goals, and opportunities for digital enablement
• Lead discovery efforts with key stakeholders across Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning, and Order Fulfillment to identify high-impact initiatives
• Define and maintain a well-prioritized product backlog; write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with business needs and Agile development practices
• Collaborate with IT architects, SAP consultants, developers, and business users to ensure effective delivery of enhancements, integrations, and upgrades
• Drive the adoption of system best practices, standardization, and automation to support business growth and operational excellence
• Measure success and ROI of system changes through KPIs, usage metrics, and business outcomes
• Support change management, end-user training, and stakeholder communication to maximize system adoption and satisfaction
• Stay informed on SAP B1 capabilities, third-party solutions, and supply chain technology trends to proactively identify improvement opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT related discipline or equivalent experience
• 7+ Years of experience years of experience in ERP or digital product management roles
• 3+ years in a Product Owner or Product Manager capacity
• Demonstrated expertise with SAP specifically within manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics modules
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes in an engineered-to-order or configure-to-order environment
• Proven experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall development environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in a senior role supporting or transforming business systems for a division or business unit preferred
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise with SAP Business One (B1)
• Knowledge of HVAC manufacturing, especially within the context of Alliance Air operations, is a strong advantage
• Experience with ERP integrations, WMS systems, EDI platforms, or analytics tools
• SAP B1 certification and knowledge of B1 add-ons or SDK customization capabilities

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,800 to $166,700 + 15% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
