RN or LVN Sr-Dallas, Tx

Texas Oncology/Texas Breast Specialists is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team at the Dallas and Wheatland locations. This full-time position runs Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM-enjoy your weekends, holidays, and evenings off!

*Sign-on bonus is $2,500*

This position will be either a level 1, 2 or Sr based on candidate experience.

What does the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) or LVN Sr do?

As an RN, you'll play a pivotal role in patient care, assisting physicians with exams and procedures and promoting efficient patient flow. Support and adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards

The essential duties and responsibilities:

• Escorting patients to and from exam rooms and treatment areas
• Recording vital signs and medical information
• Preparing and discussing surgical care plans
• Ensuring high-quality, timely patient care
• Stocking exam rooms and ordering supplies
• Providing phone support for patient inquiries
• Assisting with administrative tasks and collaborating with Medical Assistants
• Obtains all necessary patient records as required by physician prior to treatment or procedures.
• Assists physicians with exams and procedures as requested'
• Phones in prescriptions and make other patient calls as directed by physicians.
• Performs other administrative duties, i.e. typing, filing faxing, chart preparation, reception, etc., as requested by supervisor or physician.
• May enter orders under a provider's direction and supervision.
• Provides nursing coverage for satellite offices as needed.

The ideal candidate for the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) or LVN Sr will have the following background and experience:

• Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Willingness to consider an entry, mid, or senior level candidate
• Current RN/LVN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
