Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, termination, and testing of structured cabling systems, as well as the setup of surveillance cameras and access control devices in commercial environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low voltage systems and a strong understanding of industry standards and safety practices. Key Responsibilities: * Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling. * Mount and configure IP-based security cameras and NVR systems. * Install and program access control systems including card readers, door strikes, and control panels. * Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams. * Ensure all installations meet code requirements and customer specifications. * Maintain clean and organized job sites and accurately document work performed. * Troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems as needed. * Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other trades on-site. Qualifications: * 2+ years of experience in low voltage installation, preferably in commercial settings. * Proficiency with structured cabling, CCTV, and access control systems. * Ability to use hand and power tools, cable testers, and labeling equipment. * Strong understanding of EIA/TIA standards and best practices. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
