Lead Travel Technician - TEKsystems's Client Based in Nashville \| 100% Travel \| Commercial Projects \| Tons of Overtime Are you ready to take your low-voltage expertise on the road and lead high-impact installations across the country? TEKsystems's client is looking for a Lead Travel Technician who's not just skilled-but driven, dependable, and ready to own the job site. This isn't your average install gig. You'll be the go-to expert, leading a small team (1-3 techs) on projects that span everything from Cat6 cabling and fiber to security systems, fire alarms, and access control. If you love solving problems, building clean systems, and seeing your work come to life-this is your moment. What You'll Be Doing * Lead the charge on-site: conduit, cabling, cameras, and more. * Install, terminate, and test Cat6, fiber, coax, and structured cabling. * Mount and configure access points, security cameras, fire alarms, and server racks. * Read blueprints like a pro and build cable pathways that are clean, code-compliant, and obstruction-free. * Ensure every install meets NEX low-voltage codes and exceeds expectations. * You'll have a chance to work on some awesome project ranging from new cutting age data centers What You Bring * Mastery of low-voltage systems and structured cabling. * Confidence to lead and the curiosity to keep learning. * Your own tools (drills, punch tools, hand tools)-we'll supply the rest. * A sharp eye for detail and a mindset that says, "Let's get it done right." Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
