The Lemieux Laboratory in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a post-doctoral fellow, with a background in microbiology and/or immunology with solid training in genetics and genomics.
A post-doctoral position is available for an exceptionally talented, motivated, and hard-working postdoctoral fellow to investigate mechanisms of pathogenesis of the human bacterial pathogen Borrelia burgdorferi using genetics, genomics, microbiology, and biochemistry. The successful candidate will join the Lemieux and Steere laboratories to explore novel aspects of Borrelia burgdorferi pathogenesis, with a focus on identifying B. burgdorferi genes that influence Lyme arthritis. He or she will have appointments both at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard

Recent graduates with a background in microbiology and/or immunology, a history of academic productivity, and excellent references are encouraged to apply.
