Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance

The Manager, Registrar Services will be responsible for direct oversight, coaching, training and development of Registrar Services Representatives responsible for multiple functions. Is responsible for managing day-to-day operations and student escalations, as well as assessing the effectives of services provided. Is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to meet the needs of institutional partners and accomplishing operational objectives for institutional partners. This leader is charged with being a role model for the organization TEACH values and fosters a culture of CARE consistent with organization's mission, vision, and purpose.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to promote and maintain integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in the delivery of service to students and institutional partners
  • Directs and manages a Registrar Services team and provides leadership to continually improve institutional partner services - Evaluates and reviews current customer service, operational practices, and processes and advises senior leadership on recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensures that the department is appropriately staffed, which includes responsibilities of interviewing, training and supervising colleagues to create a workflow to promote efficient use of colleagues' time and resources
  • Develops, implements, and monitors schedules that provide effective coverage to ensure quality
  • Ensures that staff knows and understand their responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities.
  • Provides regular feedback to colleagues regarding productivity and quality and conducts performance reviews to help overcome colleague performance issues.
  • Responds to escalated matters and strive to resolve in a timely and professional manner.
  • Quantifies and reports enrollment figures using enterprise systems and tools. Ensures accuracy of this data and resolves discrepancies.
  • Assists with researching student matters pertaining to academic progress, policy, registration, etc.
  • Demonstrates and communicates current, detailed and accurate knowledge of University policies, federal and state regulations in a manner that displays deep understanding of the rationale and the value of the policy or procedure.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 4 years of combined professional experience
  • Prior people management experience
  • Experience working in a service-oriented industry and environment. Required
  • Understand and support internal and external customer needs
  • Exceptional leadership, critical thinking, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with limited supervision or direction.
  • Proven ability to set deadlines and ensure projects are completed
  • Strong presentation skills and prior experience speaking in front of senior leadership
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly
Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $75,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
