Now Hiring: Lead Maintenance Technician - Facilities & Equipment Location: 5505 Tacony Street. Philadelphia, PA 19137 Type: Full-Time \| Onsite Department: Maintenance & Facilities Are you a hands-on technician with expertise in electric forklifts, pallet jacks, and general facility maintenance? We're looking for a Lead Maintenance Technician to keep our warehouse operations and equipment running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Equipment Maintenance: Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electric forklifts and pallet jacks. Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Replace worn or damaged parts and test equipment for safety and performance. Keep accurate records of all repairs and inspections. Assist with setup and installation of new equipment. Facility Maintenance: Handle general building repairs (dock doors, lighting, racking, etc.). Perform preventative maintenance on infrastructure and warehouse systems. Use tools including welding equipment, torches, voltmeters, and electrical schematics. Support facility projects and work closely with management on repair priorities. General: Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. 3+ years of experience as a forklift or industrial equipment mechanic. Trade school or technical training preferred. Strong experience in diagnosing and repairing electric-powered equipment. Proficient in reading schematics and using diagnostic tools. Facility maintenance experience strongly preferred. Skills & Physical Requirements: Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities. Comfortable standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs. frequently, 100 lbs. rarely). Able to work in temperatures ranging from 85F to -10F. Detail-oriented, team player, and safety-focused. Effective communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
