RECREATION/ACTIVITY THERAPIST

Fox Run: The Center for Children and Adolescents , a subsidiary of UHS, is seeking a dynamic and talented Recreation/Activity Therapist. Located in St. Clairsville (OH), this 100-bed facility thrives on passionate and dedicated personnel, while incorporating innovative technology and therapies for the betterment of our patients.

The Activity Therapist is responsible for implementing Program Rehabilitation Therapy.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Treatment Planning of Rehabilitation Programs.
• Establishing and maintaining a productive, professional relationship with the medical staff, management team, and all other departments.
• Providing direct care and providing physical and expressive outlet for all residents.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in rehabilitation or field related to psychology or social services with experience in activity therapy.
• A minimum of two (2) years' experience in psychiatric inpatient residential setting preferred.
• Experience treating children and adolescents preferred.
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification preferred but not required.
