Summary of Job Duties:We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic student worker to support our outreach initiatives and events. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop organizational, communication, and leadership skills while contributing to impactful programs. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • Must have a high school diploma.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, setup, and execution of outreach events;

  • Engage with participants, answer questions, and provide information about programs;

  • Support event logistics, including registration, materials distribution, and equipment setup;

  • Participate as a judge for outreach events, ensuring fair and unbiased evaluations;

  • Collaborate with event organizers to follow scoring rubrics and guidelines;

  • Assist in leading summer camp activities, including setup, facilitation, and participant supervision;

  • Must be able to drive students to the required location;

  • Foster a fun, safe, and engaging environment for camp attendees;

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of outreach and educational initiatives;

  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, communication with participants, and follow-up tasks;

  • Part-time, flexible schedule based on event needs. Some evening or weekend availability may be required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

  • Organizational skills with attention to detail;

  • Flexible and adaptable to handle various tasks as needed;

  • Experience with outreach, event planning, or youth programs is a plus (but not required).
