*SHIFT*: 40 hours per week, start time between 7:30 - 8:30, and they are ok with someone working weekends as well.
*REMOTE* anywhere as long as they can start as early as 7:30 - 8:30 EST. *POSITION OVERVIEW:* The Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialist plays a crucial role by ensuring that patient medical records are accurate, complete, and reflect the true severity of a patient's condition. Here are some key responsibilities: *Reviewing Patient Records*: They use their clinical expertise to review patient records for accurate diagnosis codes, diagnostic tests, and treatments. *Ensuring Accurate Documentation:* They ensure that the documentation supports the diagnosis and treatment provided, which is essential for accurate medical coding and billing. *Communicating with Healthcare Providers*: They work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to clarify and improve documentation practices. *Educating Providers:* They educate healthcare providers on proper documentation techniques to ensure that all relevant clinical information is captured. *Improving Patient Care:* By ensuring accurate documentation, they help improve patient care and safety by providing a clear and complete picture of the patient's health status. *WORKLOAD*: processing 10 new accounts per day & 10 follow up accounts per day *MUST HAVES:* 3+ years of Clinical Documentation Intergirty (CDI) RN Certified Documentation Integrity Practitioner Cert (CDIP) 3M 360 Software Med Surg Critical Care ICU *Skills* RN, Registered Nurse, CDI, Clinical Documentation Integrity, 3M 360, Epic, CDIP, Coding, Med Surg, ICU, Critical Care, HIM, Health information management, RCM, CPC *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Critical Care ICU Med Surg *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
