Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong RN experience in clinical documentation, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for improving patient care through accurate and thorough documentation.
Key Responsibilities: * Review and analyze clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards. * Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure it accurately reflects the patient's clinical status. * Utilize 3M 360 software to support clinical documentation improvement initiatives. * Educate and train healthcare providers on best practices for clinical documentation. * Monitor and report on documentation trends and identify opportunities for improvement. * Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives. Qualifications: * Active RN license. Seeking previous RN experience in Med surge & Acute Care. * Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS). * Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) license or certification. * Proficiency with 3M 360 software. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Details: * 100% remote | equipment provided. Located in the state of CT preferred. * Must be located in CT to be considered for a permanent position. If located outside of CT, this will remain as an ongoing contract position. * Pay: $40/hr. - $45/hr. based on related experience. * Pay cycle - weekly | medical, dental & vision benefits offered. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
