Primary Purpose

The Product Analyst will oversee Enterprise Client Reports and Analytics Dashboards from ideation through development making sure the product strategy is aligned with business goals.

This is a remote position available in the United States.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Work as a liaison between the business stakeholders and technical teams to prioritize data requests and ensure the requirements appropriately meet the business needs.
  • Help identify and diagnose data issues and subsequently prioritize needed fixes and data cures.
  • Help teams creatively solve problems in innovative ways through knowledge of our data and applications.
  • Work closely with Client Reporting Team Specialists to get insights on new features based on patterns noted from ad-hoc requests.
  • Write Requirements & Acceptance Criteria for BA to create actionable user stories.
  • Successfully build and enhance client reports and data dashboards based on agreed-upon annual and quarterly goals and/or roadmaps.

  • You have an aptitude to understand all Bright Horizons products, our end users, and the business objectives.
  • You are comfortable learning and understanding data well-enough to build meaningful and actionable data products.
  • You use design thinking to ideate solutions for users' pain points.
  • You have strong communication skills.
  • You have seasoned time management skills and know how to prioritize time to ensure you are working on items that will produce the greatest business impact.
  • You must be able to embrace change and adapt to customer & stakeholder feedback.
  • You have ability to break down big tasks into smaller, more manageable ones and iterate.
  • You can execute on leadership approved roadmap and deadlines.
  • You can create visual mockups for business review and sign off.
  • You have basic understanding of Azure DevOps.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of product management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Knowledge of and experience with Bright Horizons data warehouse, databases, and general data structure preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with web analytics platform required, as well as experience with data visualization in Excel
  • Knowledge and fluency in SQL required
  • Knowledge of Bright Horizons products, our end users and the specific problems we are solving for preferred
  • Experience developing REST and GraphQL APIs preferred
  • Role will be based out of either a Bright Horizons office or home office. Occasional travel will be required at a maximum twice a year

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $75,000-$80,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 80 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule(vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law).
