Equipment Technician / Mechanic - 1st Shift \| Up to $35/hr \| Jackson, WI SITE Staffing is on the hunt for a hands-on, mechanically minded Equipment Technician who knows their way around diesel engines, lift trucks, and all things heavy-duty. This role is perfect for someone who works well independently, communicates clearly, and wants to be part of a company that builds some pretty amazing things (think: custom zoo exhibits, waterpark builds, and other theme-construction projects). What You'll Be Doing: Diagnose and repair trucks, diesel equipment, small engines, electrical systems, hydraulics-you name it. Perform fleet and safety inspections, handle preventive maintenance, and keep things safe and operational. Track repairs, complete logs, explain issues/solutions to your team, and respond quickly when something breaks down. Use a variety of tools, scanners, lifts, and diagnostic equipment with confidence. Shift Details: Monday to Friday Start: 6:00 AM - End: 4:30 PM Occasional extended hours based on projects and shop needs Pay: Up to $35/hr based on your skills and experience If you're not sure your experience lines up perfectly-apply anyway.
