( NCSIF), the Endowment Fund of NC State University, the Alumni Association, the NC State Partnership Corporation, nine (9) subsidiary LLC's and a non-profit subsidiary of one of the foundations. Each of these entities provides substantial resources in support of the University through its various colleges. Essential Job Duties
Join a mission-driven team where your attention to detail helps ensure the financial integrity behind vital research and donor support. As an Accounting Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of daily cash transactions and ensuring that gifts and matching funds are properly accounted for-safeguarding trust with donors and meeting the highest standards in audit and reporting.
In this role, you will:

  • Lead the audit of daily cash deposits, reconciling amounts with Gift Processing batch records.
  • Review all check payments to verify correct payee, ensure funds belong to a foundation account, and process deposits accurately via Remote Deposit Capture (RDC).
  • Reconcile matching gift and LOBO clearing accounts monthly to ensure correct allocation with full documentation.
  • Help ensure funds are applied to the appropriate legal entity and fund, supporting financial reporting, audit readiness, and donor stewardship.

This position is critical to ensuring funds are deposited and recorded correctly-an effort that directly supports research impact, compliance, and donor confidence.
We encourage applicants with cash management or gift administration experience to apply and be part of a team where accuracy and accountability make a difference every day.
