The Environmental Health, Safety & Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment by overseeing both EHS programs and daily office/facility operations. This individual leads safety initiatives, maintains regulatory compliance, and manages vendor relationships while supporting office functionality, sustainability efforts, and internal events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and capable of balancing tactical responsibilities with strategic improvements in workplace health, safety, and facilities management.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)

  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Manage and update EHS documentation, including safety audits, risk assessments, training logs, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

  • Conduct monthly safety walks, coordinate incident investigations, and ensure timely resolution and documentation of EHS concerns.

  • Lead and facilitate the EHS committee to drive safety culture and employee engagement.

  • Develop and deliver training programs (e.g., First Day EHS, Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid, Fire Extinguisher).

  • Serve as the site contact for EHS-related concerns, audits, and agency inquiries.

  • Manage emergency preparedness plans and conduct safety drills.

  • Establish, analyze, trend and report out safety and environmental performance metrics.

  • Partner with HR, Facilities, and Operations teams to integrate safety into the broader workplace culture.

Facilities & Office Operations

  • Independently manage day-to-day office and facility operations within budget, including janitorial, landscaping, signage, and maintenance vendors.

  • Oversee office layout planning and workstation coordination in partnership with HR and department leads.

  • Maintain common areas (e.g., restrooms, lunchrooms, conference rooms) for cleanliness and readiness.

  • Coordinate workstation scheduling tools and shared technologies with IT (e.g., printers, access systems).

  • Support sustainability initiatives and participate in related committees or teams.

  • Handle procurement of office supplies, furniture, and equipment.

  • Lead and execute facilities projects, remodels, or reconfigurations.

  • Provide logistical support for on-site meetings and internal events.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for building-related issues and improvements.

Administrative & Cultural Support

  • Manage facilities contracts and SOPs, maintaining documentation and intranet resources.

  • Organize office-wide events and culture-building activities.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or related field

  • 3+ years of EHS or facilities management experience in a regulated industry

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FDA, and NIOSH standards

  • Excellent project management, vendor negotiation, and organizational skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite and familiarity with safety or facilities management software

  • Customer service mindset and comfort interacting with staff at all levels

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with EHS systems such as Quentic.

  • 5+ years of combined office administration or vendor management experience

  • Understanding of budgeting, purchasing, and sustainability practices

Other:

  • Travel - 10%

Compensation & Total Rewards:

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $90,000 - $98,000

*Estimated Starting Salary Range is reflective of the range Bracco Medical Technologies reasonably expects to pay for the position. The range provided is based on salary and market data specific to the position.
