Job Summary:
The Department of Mathematics is seeking excellent candidates for a tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will create and maintain an impactful research program appropriate for a major research university and contribute to the research, teaching, and service missions of the Department of Mathematics. All areas of Mathematics will be considered. Responsibilities: The successful candidate, as a member of the College of L&S, will proactively contribute to, support, and advance the college's commitment to equity among all aspects of their teaching, mentoring, research, and service. Education: Required Qualifications: Candidates for tenure-track positions should exhibit evidence of outstanding research potential, normally including significant contributions to the field beyond the doctoral dissertation. Appointment at Associate or Full Professor with tenure requires evidence of excellence in scholarly research, teaching and service. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience with fostering or the ability to foster an inclusive and equity-centered teaching, learning, mentoring, departmental, and research environment where all can thrive.
