Ellwood Crankshaft Group (ECG) is the world's leading manufacturer of large, one-of-a-kind, multiple-throw crankshafts. ECG's products and services include crankshafts and eccentrics used in mechanical stamping presses, reciprocating air and gas compressors, reciprocating pumps, engines and other miscellaneous applications. ECG services the locomotive, shipping, mechanical press, oil and gas and compression markets.

Today, ECG has four facilities in Pennsylvania. We are seeking a full-time Quality Coordinator position to help support our facilities. This non-exempt position will be located out of the ECM facility in Hermitage and will require occasional travel to other PA facilities as needed and will report to the Quality Engineer II.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities
  • Familiar with general computer applications
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be results oriented with a strong desire to succeed
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills


  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to work well with a team and independently
  • Detailed oriented and ability to organize and prioritize



RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:



  • Receiving, filing, generating and verifying material certifications from vendors
  • Generating and filing internal ECG product certifications
  • Approving outsource certifications for shipment
  • Interacting with customers to support material certification needs
  • Lead shipment approvals for product through photo documentation and visual verifications
  • Participate and support 3rd party audits such as ISO and Marine Agencies
  • Help review, audit and maintain Quality Management System documentation per ISO 9001 requirements including internal auditing
  • Support gauge calibration database and records with inspection teams
  • Confirm and update documentation changes in the Change Management System
  • Help generate and confirm accuracy of inspection and quality templates and documentation used for product and system verification
  • Support quality requirements in Contract Review Process
  • Support Quality Record (MRR) system
  • Support other administrative functions in the quality and inspection department as requested

Education
High School of Unspecified (preferred)
Associates of Business (preferred)
Other Training of Quality Assurance (preferred)
