Position Description Your Opportunity:
TechSource, Inc. is a key partner in the PanTeXas Deterrence, LLC (PXD, Pantex) joint venture, which was awarded a $30 billion Management and Operating (M&O) contract by the U.S. Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration (DOE/NNSA) to manage and operate the Pantex Plant. This contract was announced in June 2024 and will potentially be extended until 2044. Your role will support Pantex with their engineering processes and map out a future for this contract!
As a Project Team Lead for TechSource, you will manage the creation of an Actionable Improvement Plan for PanTeXas Deterrence, LLC (PXD) to eliminate waste and optimize PXD Engineering Process. Your project team will evaluate the flow down of all requirements for Project Engineering, Systems Engineering, Construction and/or equipment turnover to Operations and Configuration Management processes in the PXD Engineering Division. This plan will have a list of specific, justified recommendations to streamline workflows, define/redefine roles and responsibilities, improve data management, and implement process enhancements, including suggestions for tools, training, and resource allocation. In this role as the Project Team Lead, you will manage a team in the process of defining, designing, and developing requirement flow-down processes. You will manage weekly meetings, stakeholder updates, and the final project report. 10-week contract: For this contract, weeks 1-4 will be onsite in Amarillo, Texas. TechSource will compensate all travel expenses for candidates who live outside the greater Amarillo area using the current GSA rates. The remainder of the contract will be completed remotely.
