Job Description:

Ryan Companies is looking for an organized, creative, innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking individual who aims for the highest standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will be able to problem solve and design both as part of a collaborative team and independently. Candidates with at least 4 years of experience are most likely to be successful, however those with unique career experience or who display clear potential for the role will be considered.

Ryan Companies uses a unique integrated delivery process that involves architecture, engineering, construction, development, real estate management and capital markets. Ryan's integrated process requires an individual to be able to work in a proactive and positive manner in tandem with local teams and cross regionally within a national design practice.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Work in tandem with Client, Project Architect, Design Project Manager, Designers, Development, Construction and Consultants to develop documentation for coordination and construction.
  • Solve problems and applies basic principles of design.
  • Perform tasks with a high level of collaboration and sets an example for others to follow.
  • Contribute to Ryan culture through participation in office activities, initiatives and learning programs.
  • Responsible for execution of Ryan's yearly review and goal setting process based on personal and professional, development goals.
  • Actively participate in Ryan Companies' and Ryan A+E's 5-year vision/initiatives and 1-year business plans and goals.

Project Delivery:

  • Participate in creating complete and thorough design documents to meet project goals, milestones, and schedule.
  • Participate in detailing efforts to produce a complete set of construction documents.
  • Participate in and can lead design meetings, consultant meetings and project team meetings.
  • Resolve unusual or complex technical issues in partnership with team.
  • Research and resolve code issues and regulatory approval process.
  • Participate in Ryan's QA/QC process and project specifications for specific scopes of work.
  • Identify and communicate deviations in project scope and works with team to resolve.

Job Requirements:

  • Professional Architecture degree; Bachelor or Master of Architecture
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Architectural licensure
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Revit, Building Codes, Documentation and Constructability
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse team

You will really stand if you have:

  • Experience working with Bluebeam
  • LEED AP and/or WELL AP

Eligibility:

  • Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.

Compensation:

The salary range is $78,500 - $98,100. The salary base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
