Job Type: RegularCongressional Relations Coordinator Join RAND as a Congressional Relations Coordinator and become an essential bridge between cutting-edge research and national policymaking. In this dynamic role, you will support RAND's congressional outreach efforts by developing engagement strategies, conducting legislative research, and connecting RAND's diverse expertise with key stakeholders on Capitol Hill. This position reports directly to the Director of Congressional Relations. Responsibilities In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that evidence-based research reaches policymakers across the political spectrum who shape our nation's future. Your work will directly contribute to more informed policy discussions on Capitol Hill by connecting RAND's objective analysis with those who need it most. You will:
Qualifications
Join our team and help strengthen the vital connection between objective research and national policymaking! Education Bachelor's degree in government, public policy or related field; advanced degree advantageous. Experience Three to five years of relevant experience. Location This position will be located at RAND's Washington DC, office. This position is eligible for RAND's hybrid work environment, which enables a blend of on-site and remote work. On-site presence is required as needed to fulfill job duties. This position occasionally involves delivering materials to Capitol Hill and attending events in Washington DC. Salary Range: $75,700 - $112,400 RAND considers a variety of factors when formulating an offer, including but not limited to, the specific role and associated responsibilities; a candidate's work experience, education/training, skills, expertise; and internal equity. Successful candidates will be offered employment in a specific title, as determined by the candidate's education and experience. The salary range includes base pay plus RAND's sabbatic pay (which provides additional compensation above base pay when vacation is taken).
