Emergency Management Specialist

SUMMARY

Under direction of the Emergency Management Director, assists in planning, organizing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Grady Health System Emergency Management program to provide for the safety and protection of people and property; assists in providing direction during disaster or emergency situations; interacts with other hospitals and government agencies in coordinating and integrating the response by the Grady Health System to such disasters or emergency situations; and performs related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  High school diploma or GED
• 
  Bachelors Degree Preferred
• 
  A minimum of 2 years experience in the Hospital Emergency Management
• 
  Must be a Certified Emergency Management Healthcare Professional
