Other benefits include Health and Family Care leave for both union and non-union employees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project planning that includes pre-erection survey and site preparation coordination
- Daily delivery coordination of precast to the jobsite
- Works directly with general contractors, erection subcontractors, and our engineer of record on any as-built requirements
- Attend all planning meetings to understand project information pertinent to the erection process
- Identify project milestones, and potential problems that could affect schedule
- Establish the basic guidelines that the project will operate within, including erection sequence, critical lifts, rigging procedures and coordination or crane assembly/disassembly
- Review and discuss with the foreman the basic guidelines that have been established for each project
- Ensure that each erection crew is executing the game plan for each project
- Act as the knowledgeable resource for any erection related question
- Communicate any changes in scope of work that would cause extra costs
- Manages field repair coordination and field patchers
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field equivalent experience
- OSHA 30-hour certified- Construction Industry
- Must be highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Ability to handle multiple assignments, prioritize activities and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent understanding of welding details and welding procedures
- Customer service skills, inter-personal and decision-making skills required
- Possession of a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for typing, filing, and using office equipment.
- Visual acuity and ability to read small print.
- Hearing acuity and ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to lift and move office supplies and equipment.
- Mobility and ability to move around the office as needed.
