Summary As a Senior Consultant with Corporate Planning and Strategic Services (CPSS), you will lead complex initiatives that span multiple business areas from conception to execution. You will partner with senior leaders across the organization to drive success by helping them anticipate needs, create strategies, overcome challenges, and advance opportunities. In particular, this role will primarily focus on leading the planning, development, and execution of business unit/organizational strategies in partnership with senior leaders. You will also mentor other consultants and help grow the value of CPSS across the organization.

Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM in a typical office environment. This role is located at 105 New Way Road Columbia, SC 29223, United States of America. What You'll Do:
Manages tasks in projects, project team, and/or leading multiple projects. Actively gathers appropriate level of participation and input to decision-making, and fosters the same within the team. Determines, sets, and executes best direction in addressing business issues or opportunity by facilitating communication between and among business units. Negotiates and manages agreements and commitments based on requirements of business. Identifies, researches, evaluates, and quantifies all aspects of business solution or opportunity. Consults with all levels of management(to include senior level executives) engaged in design, development, communication, and implementation of said business solutions or opportunities. Consults and collaborates with all levels of management(to include senior level executives) in facilitating and leading analyst teams to provide analysis on industry, business trends, and key operations/functions to solve business problems and maximize opportunities. Conducts in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of key cross-functional business processes within specific business unit to provide business managers with critical data to make key tactical decisions. Provides leadership in conducting comprehensive analysis that synthesizes disparate information, both internal(cross-business) and external(industry and competitive). Consults with customers to understand strategic direction of business, and designs and implements solutions to corporate/enterprise issues and opportunities. Directs activities of other staff members on their team on topics such as project management, direction, and analysis. May provide guidance/leadership to staff pertaining to training and department initiatives. May assist department managers in day-to-day operations of department.
To Qualify For This Position, You'll Need The Following:
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Degree Equivalency: 4 years job related work experience or Associate's and 2 years job related work experience Required Work Experience: 8 Years organizational development, business analysis, process improvement (e.g. six sigma and reengineering), corporate/strategic planning, financial analysis, business systems analysis, business development and market/industry research, or management of business operation in any business setting including I/T, research/analysis activities, leading project teams and/or managing complex analysis projects. Required Training: PAHM certification within 1 year of hire.
We Prefer That You Have The Following:
5+ years of strategic planning, program management, or consulting experience working for an external or dedicated internal consulting team. 3+ year's leadership experience within the healthcare industry, preferably with healthcare payers. Master's Degree in a related field (MHA, MBA, Strategy, etc.) Experience partnering with senior leaders stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design, plan, and drive significant strategic transformation initiatives. Strong ability to take initiative and drive results while effectively balancing multiple priorities. Proven communication and leadership capabilities to influence people, inspire teams, and build coalitions to embrace change and move people to act. Effective communication, persuasion, negotiation, and influencing skills in order to win support and champion ideas from ideation through execution. Building and maintaining customer-centric relationships to drive business objective and organizational value. Working independently and with teams to translate ambiguous/complex concepts into a set of prioritized approaches that will produce sound decisions. Mentoring and guiding less experienced staff/customers in the use of tools/frameworks/methodologies in the design and execution of business solutions. Maintaining confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
