University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College provides access to high-quality education that promotes student learning and enables individuals to develop to their fullest potential.Position Summary: Under the direction of the Vice Chancellor of Advancement/Executive Director of the UA - Pulaski Technical College Foundation, the Development Officer will have an integral role in developing and carrying out fundraising, stewardship and engagement efforts of the Advancement Office. The successful candidate is responsible for maximizing philanthropic support through donor engagement, solicitation, stewardship and relationship building. General Responsibilities: 1.Manage a portfolio of up to 75 donors, including corporate, foundation and individual supporters. 2.Manage and lead logistics of UA-PTC Foundation events including Diamond Chef Arkansas, Annual Scholarship Luncheon and UA-PTC Golf Tournament. 3.Recruit and train volunteers to support special events. 4.Establish and grow a UA-PTC Giving Day opportunity. 5.Responsible for Faculty/Staff Giving Program. 6.Provide leadership for the UA-PTC Alumni and Friends Association, helping to increase alumni engagement. 7.Research, write and submit funding and sponsorship proposals to private foundations, corporations and individuals. 8.Prepare printed materials, including presentations, solicitation materials, communications for donor letters, e-newsletters, social media, messaging and other marketing collateral. 9.Conduct direct, in-person meetings with donors and potential donors weekly. 10.Acknowledge and steward donors through invitations to campus events, sharing of update reports and other strategies to grow donor relationships. Other Functions: 1.Supports all Advancement projects and plans. 2.Serves on College committees as an Advancement representative. 3.Represents UA-PTC Foundation and participates in external events, committees, system-wide planning/coordination and special projects as directed. 4.Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
