The Lead, Financial Operations will work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver key initiatives for the PSaS Data Product and AI initiatives supporting the overall McKesson Digital Mindset objectives. This role requires a proven track record in leading large-scale program implementations and fostering end-user adoption. The ideal candidate will have experience across various functions, including finance and technology, and possess strong executive communication skills, a passion for execution, an understanding of data, and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the one-year and two-year roadmap to operationalize the use of the PSaS data product across the US Pharma and Oncology businesses within PSaS
  • Deliver the long-term strategy, roadmap, and operating model for the multiple Data Products within PSaS
  • Deliver use cases for innovation and AI that leverage the PSaS Data Platform to drive business growth.
  • Build and execute the roll-out plan to use Data Bricks and sunset Snowflake which involves many stakeholders at all levels of PSaS and McKesson Technology
  • Develop KPIs to track success and monitor progress toward goals monthly, ensuring the business case is achieved
  • Own financial forecasts, reporting, project lifecycle workflow, and capacity management.
  • Coordinate with Finance and BU IT leadership to ensure timely delivery of technology that will enable process change

Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

Education/Training -

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 10+ years of professional experience and 5+ years of project/program management.

Business Experience -

Strategic Leadership:

  • Build and deliver the long-term strategy, roadmap, and operating model for multiple Data Products within PSaS.
  • Drive the partnership between Finance and BU IT leadership to ensure timely delivery of technology that enables process changes and drives innovation.

Technology Coordination:

  • Develop use cases for innovation and AI that leverage the PSaS Data Platform to drive business growth.
  • Lead the transition from Snowflake to Data Bricks, ensuring a seamless roll-out and adoption plan.

Operational Execution:

  • Assist in defining and communicating the operational structure for the PSaS Data Product within the BU.
  • Build and execute a one-year and two-year roadmap to operationalize the PSaS data product across US Pharma and Oncology businesses.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Build and own financial forecasts, reporting, project lifecycle workflow, and capacity management.
  • Develop KPIs to track success and monitor progress toward goals monthly, ensuring alignment with the business case.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead diverse teams to achieve desired outcomes, fostering collaboration and influence within the BU and Finance.
  • Engage with senior leaders to enact change and drive adoption
  • Drive change and process improvements in ambiguous and uncertain environments.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills -

  • Strong understanding of finance and data.
  • Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams and achieving desired outcomes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and execution skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders within BU and Finance.
  • Experience in driving change and processes in ambiguous and uncertain environments.

Salary: 122,100.00 - 162,800.00 - 203,500.00 USD Annual (20 % MIP)

(Target 147K with a 20% MIP)
