Shipping Clerk (Seasonal)

• Operating forklift, powered hand jack, and manual hand jack. (Certifications preferred, or willingness to be trained and certified).
• Uploading and organizing scanned packing lists.
• Picking parts per delivery requests.
• Verifying deliveries to ensure accuracy.
• Packaging parts in boxes, crates, or on skids to be shipped.
• Assisting Export shipping with picking parts for delivery.
• Removal of scrap crates to appropriate areas.
• Assisting with putting away parts from receiving.
• Cycle counting.
• Working in carpenter shop to build pallets and/or fix broken pallets necessary for safe and secure shipping.
• Putting away large parts in racking with a forklift.
  
  

  Position Requirements:

  
  
• Maintain clean work environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic logistical system capabilities.
• Basic computer and Outlook capabilities.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in place.
• Commitment to working accurately, effectively, and timely both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Willing to work at any of the above locations as requested.
• Solid work history and demonstrate a desire to succeed.
• Work overtime as needed.
  

  Physical Requirements:

  
  
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to squat, bend/twist at waist while carrying item(s).
• Frequent walking and standing.
