*Description*
Commercial & Industrial HVAC Service leader roles Working at the Blue Ash office or on the road with technicians or customers. Two most desirable experiences: CAH units Chillers Roof top units (RTU) but not in the commercial or industrial markets so have to dig in on this piece Variable refrigerator volume or flow: VRV or VRF - might always find this in their background Chiller techs. - Can lead chiller techs You might find someone who has one or the other; really good at VRV or the chiller techs but hard to find someone who has both Manages service technicians and support team to maximize customer satisfaction and improve productivity and profitability. Effectively recruits, develops, and retains employees. Ensures overall operational excellence and service growth. Oversees Service P&L local Cinci and Dayton office. Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, advanced computer literacy, professional manner. Abilities: Interact effectively as a member of a team and work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks and work under pressure, flexible and willing to assist as needed. MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *Support service coordinators with scheduling technicians. *Supervise service technicians. *Receive and review Time Verification Reports from service technicians. *Coordinate technician factory OEM training, and train new employees. *Review work orders, pre-invoice reports, service invoices. *Manage service parts, order filters & belts for the P/M accounts *Administer safety programs, monitor compliance with job site safety, safety training, safety documentation, auditing, and reporting. *Establishes project timelines, communicates with customers, and coordinate project schedule. *Manages projects, assigns personnel, oversees ordering of equipment and material. *Ensures that maintenance contract commitments are fulfilled, and inspections completed on time. Provides input to Service Coordinator on scheduling activity of technicians. *Works with the technician team to generate pull-through service and repair work. *Works with manufactures to negotiate and file warranty claims. *Manages Tech Tip program and leads customer care initiatives. *Work with Service Sales Manager and Sales Representatives to resolve customer issues, including customer visits. *Oversee assigned service vehicles, monitors vehicles to ensure they are being maintained and operated as required and used according to company policy. *Skills* Operational management, Service management, Project management, Operation, excel, field construction, microsoft office, construction, hvac, construction supervision, p&l, p&l analysis, cah units, chillers, roof top units, variable refrigerator volume *Top Skills Details* Operational management, Service management, Project management, Operation,excel, field construction, microsoft office, construction, hvac, construction supervision, p&l, p&l analysis, cah units, chillers, roof top units, variable refrigerator volume *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *A large nice to have would be if the candidate has extensive Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) or Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) service experience - Daikin, Mitsubishi, Carrier, JCI, LG, Hitachi THESE TYPE OF BACKGROUNDS WOULD WORK OUT WELL: *Former HVAC field technician with 20+ years of experience of working on various HVAC equipment technologies (chillers - centrifugal, screw, scroll), custom air handing units (AHUs), rooftop units (RTUs), understand system operations including Building Automation Systems (BAS), pumps & boilers. *Worked for 10+ years as a front-line technician, and then elevated to leadership roles = team lead, technician supervisor, Foreman and/or Operations leader * Individual Contributor in the field and has the leadership characteristics would be a good fit here. *Field background that wants to move into people management OR HVAC/construction background now in mgmt OR Construction PM looking to become service manager and has right soft skills *HVAC technician work is hard on the body, and most senior people want to "graduate" to a non-wrench-turning Field service support type of position. They want to get away from being the doer and move to a field advisor cerebral role using their many years of knowledge of systems and equipment. *Experience Level* Intermediate Leve *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
