Location: Hybrid (West Hartford, Connecticut) Job Type: Full-Time Category: Human Resources / Administrative Support About the Role A Client of TEKsystems is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Administrator to support their hybrid office in the West Hartford area. Key Responsibilities * Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, and changes in employment terms. * Coordinate with third-party benefits providers and manage benefits administration. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems. * Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. * Manage leave and absence processes including maternity, paternity, adoption, sick leave, and flexible working requests. * Respond to employee inquiries via the global HR inbox, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. * Assist with payroll-related queries and ensure data accuracy for processing. * Support internal and external audits with required documentation and reporting. * Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed. * Act as a super user for the core HR system, ensuring data integrity and usability. Must-Have Skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365 * Experience in HR administration or a similar role * Strong organizational and communication skills * Customer service experience * Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Nice-to-Have Skills * Experience administering assessments or online tests * Familiarity with HRIS platforms * Previous experience in a corporate HR environment Work Environment You'll be a key point of contact in the office, working at the front desk and supporting both employees and leadership with HR-related needs in a collaborative, high-traffic setting. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
