US Defense Finance Analyst

Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work hybrid with our client in Indianapolis, IN. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Pull data together to assist in the analysis of the financial results at the end of each AP in accordance with regional and sector timelines
• Assist in tracking and analysis of costs on Projects within Defence Services
• Assist in research of variances between actual results and forecasted results in Defence Services.
• Support budgeting, Annual Target Setting, In-Year Forecasts, and other forecasts as needed based on guidance from the Program and Financial Controller.
• Research Costs postings to help program with analysis of the project costs, pulling data from SAP and other sources as needed.
• Reconcile accounts as needed.
• Assists with ad hoc projects to support the business in finance and cross-functional business process improvement teams.
• Prepares and Submits Invoice Requests to NAFSC for both US Government and Non-Government Customers
• Supports other programs as needed.

Required Skills:

• Associates Degree in Business or Finance.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Business or Finance.

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance.
• Experience working as a business or financial analyst in a large corporation
• Experience with SAP
