The Opportunity

The Assets & Sustainability Manager will develop and implement facilities asset management, reliability, and maintenance engineering programs. Applying plant engineering and facilities engineering standard methodologies, this role will improve building systems and campus infrastructure asset reliability. The goal is to reduce total ownership costs, minimize downtime, lower repair costs, and boost team efficiency. This role engages with senior management and field technicians within the facilities management organization. The A&S Manager leads all aspects of our energy programs, contributing to our ambitious environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals. You will coordinate energy and sustainability performance by tracking, analyzing, and reporting metrics across the real estate portfolio. Managing utility data and leading improvement projects will also be key responsibilities. This role will evolve to include spearheading the Smart Workplace program with IoT, AI, machine learning, and innovative technology.

What you'll do
  • Provide thought leadership on workplace physical infrastructure for all Adobe sites in the US.
  • Collaborate with Adobe's IFM vendor partner to ensure robust, efficient, and reliable MEP services, including power systems, HVAC, BMS, lighting controls, and more.
  • Implement IoT systems and robotics to improve FM service efficiency.
  • Develop and apply preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance SOPs for all equipment.
  • Maintain the Asset Management System and lead capital planning for equipment replacement.
  • Assist regional teams and offer technical mentorship in discussions with building management.
  • Develop an energy management plan, recommend energy conservation changes, and analyze project results.
  • Guide site operations managers and engineers to maintain equipment and systems at peak efficiency.
  • Build risk mitigation strategies for critical facilities assets, including failure analysis and risk assessment.
  • Lead facilities condition assessments to develop project plans and maintenance optimization programs.
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives within Workplace functions and explore Smart Workplace improvements.
What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering/Architecture or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years of proven experience.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to lead in a matrixed environment.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $122,900 -- $242,500 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
