Overview

The Senior Residential Construction Lender is responsible for soliciting builders, obtaining construction loans and managing a portfolio of those related loans.

Responsibilities

    Responsible for soliciting and obtaining good, profitable builder accounts
  • Evaluate and analyze information from potential accounts
  • Interview applicants, structure and negotiate loan terms, and analyze new & renewed loans
  • Prepare Officer Credit Memo, if needed
  • Evaluate Borrower Global Inventory and Cash Flows
  • Meet with prospective builders
  • Inspect prospective customers' product and locations of desired loans
  • Correspond with credit department on material sent to be analyzed
  • Discuss information with credit analyst
  • Prepare final package to be sent
  • Meet with appropriate individuals for approvals
  • Relay information to prospective builders, as to their proposed Guideline
  • Prepare information for closing
  • Attend first closing
  • Monitor builders' activities with our loans and other lender's loans
  • Inspect properties as needed
  • Stay abreast of market activities via day to day communication with market participants, riding of subdivisions, and various market resources
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of construction lending experience with a proven sales track record
  • Relevant computer skills
  • Advanced knowledge of loans
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
