THE JOB:

The Vice President of Casino Operations serves as a key senior leader and a core member of the property's Operating Committee. This position is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all casino-related functions, including Slots, Table Games, Poker, Race & Sportsbook (as applicable), and Casino Marketing. In close partnership with the corporate Gaming Center of Excellence (COE), this executive will drive performance through execution of enterprise-wide strategies in pricing optimization, player development, game and machine placement, and guest experience. This role ensures operational alignment with corporate initiatives while tailoring implementation to meet local property goals. The Vice President will oversee all aspects of gaming operations, ensuring a seamless, profitable, and highly engaging guest and employee experience.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • The Vice President of Casino Operations is responsible for executing all Gaming COE strategic initiatives at the property level, ensuring their effective implementation and long-term sustainability.

  • This role works closely with property leadership to align COE directives with local strategies, ensuring seamless integration.

  • The VP oversees the implementation and compliance of all operational policies, procedures, training programs, pricing standards, and labor schedules across all gaming functions.

  • They serve as a critical liaison with the COE, sharing property-specific challenges and opportunities while collaborating on revenue-generating and gap-closing initiatives.

  • Additionally, the role drives employee engagement through coaching and development, enhances the guest experience by delivering optimal gaming and service quality, and ensures financial performance through pricing optimization, labor management, and expense control.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field-or equivalent relevant experience.

  • They will bring at least six years of progressive leadership in gaming operations, with demonstrated success in overseeing large teams and complex departments.

  • A deep understanding of casino operations, including slots, table games, and related gaming functions, is essential.

  • The candidate should have prior experience serving as a Vice President or Director of Table Games or Slot Operations in a high-volume, integrated casino resort environment.

  • Strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to align enterprise strategy with local execution will be critical to success in this role.
