Role Name: Operations Analyst Location: Columbia, SC 29229 Work Environment: Onsite (possibility of converting into remote) Schedule: Mon to Fri, 8:30am - 5pm (OT required as per business needs) Contract length: 3 months assignment with possible conversion Job Summary: Duties/About the role: Under general supervision, analyzes proposed policies, procedures, forms, and reports. Recommends operational improvement through standardization, simplification, discontinuance and other methods. Recommends installations of new systems/procedures. Reviews organizational functions and structure to avoid overlapping or duplication. May provide security administration to application supported by area when the appropriate written and approved request is received. Day to Day:
Team Info: The Complex Inquiry Team is a small yet impactful team. With only 7 members we support all Lines of Business and have both internal and external customers. Our duties include benefit management, departmental resource management and facilitating conversations between Treating Physicians and company employed Physicians. Any extra/additional job info: NA Job Requirements: Required Experience: 2 years of data analysis or related operations experience. Required EDU: Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree and 2 years of project management, data analysis, business planning or other job related experience OR 4 years combined education and job related experience. Required Certification or licenses: NA Required Software and Tools (Hands on experience required): Microsoft Office Soft skills: Initiative o Excellent written and verbal communication skills o Time and productivity management o Emotional intelligence Nice to have/Preferred skills: Data analysis, Project coordination, Critical Thinking, Excel Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree-in Business, Healthcare or other job related field. Preferred Work Experience: 2 years-of healthcare or insurance data analysis experience. |
